A little bit about me:

My father got me interested in this business.  He taught me almost everything that I know and encouraged me to believe that I could do anything and learn everything that I could.  I have been building hot rods since 1975.  I worked full time at a welding shop and built hot rods for myself and others.  For as long as I remember I have had some sort of addiction to power. I have been building my own engines since 1977, I have definitely learned a lot since then.   I raced an altered drag car for 8 years, then other things took precedence (family, house, etc…) and I decided to sell it.  I decided that I had been tinkering with building engines for myself long enough, so in 1986 I began building engines for circle track racecars, drag cars, and high performance street cars.
I worked several years in an engine and racing carburetion shop, but unfortunately there was no money to be made there.  I moved on from that and worked at Jim Butler Chevrolet for the next 10 years.  As the hours of operation did not agree with my schedule I moved on and spent the following 10 years working at Sapaugh Chevy, Cadillac, Pontiac, Buick, G.M.C.  No matter where I was working during the day my evenings and weekends were still being spent working on my passion for building engines and hot rods.
The shop that I have opened it is equipped with the latest technology featuring Sunnen machines.  We have the very high tech Superflow 902 dyno to test and tune your engine.  We are not just an engine shop.  We are a full service fabrication shop, if you need a crazy part built for your hot rod, racecar, boat, or even lawn mower.  We also offer complete hot rod services.  We can handle anything from engine swaps, to wiring and adding superchargers, intercoolers, turbochargers, nitrous oxide, or even building a street rod from the ground up.  We are able to do the crazy stuff that no one else wants to put their hands on.
I am a G.M. and A.S.E. certified world class technician.  I have attended countless seminars (including several with my hero “Smokey” Yunick) and several classes at Superflow in Colorado on camshaft design, airflow research and several others.
We have built race winning dirt track engines for Kenny Schrader, David Jumper, Jeff Lebaube, Kenny Rumble, Gary & Danny Haynes, Tim Hill Sr., Don Jumper, Bill Larue, Mark Miner, Gene Reed, and Kevin Epperson just to name a few.  We have built high performance engines for Kip Albert, John Sienor, Jason Isringhausen, Jack Morley, Danny Krumm, Bob Gerrison, and Earl Chapman.  We have also built several hot rods over the years.
I have always wanted to open up my own shop to pursue my passion, this is what I love to do.  Since the beginning I have strived to be the best that I can at what I do.  Whether its wiring a racecar or porting cylinder heads, it has to be nice or I simply won’t let it out of my shop.
Special THANKS to all of my friends who helped build the new shop!!
